PRODUCT APPLICATIONS;

UltraCrete Post Fix is a rapid hardening 10mm concrete formulated for sub-surface use in the fast and efficient installation of posts, signs, fences, telephone and electricity poles, street lighting columns, street furniture, speed cameras and road side barriers.

TECHNICAL;

Post Fix is supplied as a damp pack in 25kg plastic bags, which contain 2 parts – a 10mm graded aggregate pack and special cement pack. The product requires only the addition of water on site to form a strong quick setting base which holds posts, signs, fences, etc. instantly. Preparation Good concrete practice should be observed at all times to enable the mix to be placed into position within 4 minutes of mixing. All surfaces should be free from oil, grease, dust or any other visible contaminants. Remove all loose particles and work on a sound substrate to ensure product performance and bond are achieved. Pre-soak the reinstatement area with water prior to product application.

PRODUCT MIXING;

Post Fix should be mixed by hand or with a freefall mixer. Simply mix the inner bag containing the cement with the aggregate. Add approximately 1.75 litres of water initially and mix thoroughly. Should the addition of extra water be required, add only small amounts at a time to a maximum of 2.5 litres and mix gradually until a stiff concrete consistency is achieved.
Please note: The addition of excessive water will result in slower strength gain, reduced final compressive strength and the possibility of shrinkage cracking.
