Idrostop Mastic

Technical Description

Idrostop Mastic is a one-component thixotropic adhesive made from sililated polymers characterised by its high initial tack and rapid final hardening. It contains no solvents and does not give off unpleasant smells. It also has very low emission of volatile organic compounds and is certified as EC1 Plus.

When the product is extruded from the cartridge, it forms a paste that may be applied on horizontal and vertical surfaces. At +5°C to +35°C it sets by reacting with the moisture in the air to form a plastic bead.

Idrostop Mastic adheres perfectly to surfaces, including on slightly damp surfaces, as long as they are clean and sound. Its creamy consistency compensates for slight differences in the flatness of substrates where Idrostop is to be applied.

Adhesive used to bond Idrostop when making waterproof work joints in the civil, industrial and hydraulic construction sectors.

· Bonding Idrostop to concrete between foundation slabs and vertical walls before carrying out second pours.
· Bonding Idrostop around PVC and steel pipes before pouring concrete.
