Natural Cement - WaterStop

Natural Cement's WaterStop is a naturally fast setting and fast curing natural cement based material. It is resistant to chloride penetration, is Reg. 31 approved for contact with drinking water, and is not affected by sea water. Approved to Reg. 31 for contact with drinking water.

• Yield: Generally, 1 x 5 kg bag of WaterStop mixed with 1.9 litres of water will produce around 2 litres of mortar

Product Description

WaterStop is a fast setting material based on a potable water approved natural cement, it is an environmentally friendly, fast setting, water stopping material that at 20ºc starts to set in 90 seconds and is totally set in 2½ minutes. It is also Reg.31 approved for contact with drinking water.

The product only requires to be added to water and mixed for two minutes (see mixing instructions for further details) and provides a waterproof barrier. It can be used in cold & wet conditions, sets under water and from a minimum of 1 mm can be, if required, built up layer on layer to any thickness.

Cleanup

WaterStop should be removed from tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

 

Storage

WaterStop is packaged in 5 kg units in a sealed polythene bag inside a plastic sealed tub. If stored in dry conditions it will last for at least twelve months.
