The Advantages of Using Water Based Coatings

One-pack water-based coatings, especially wood coatings for interiors, have no pot life. This therefore removes problems associated with traditional solvent-based polyurethane products.

They are simple and practical coatings because they are easy to work with. Ready to use and the product can be recovered and reused. This is provided it is reintroduced into its original tin and carefully closed - air tight.
Prolonged contact with air must always be avoided.

Water-based coatings are normally applied by spray, roller or brush, this ensures you have an easy application process of choice.

Application Remarks

Hydrobarp Care Matt (top coat) for application on top of the Hydrobarp Fondo Care.
Once the sealer coat is perfectly dry and sanded, apply the Barpimo Clear Matt Wood Varnish (Hydrobarp Care Matt) in the recommended grammage and allow to cure..
If a second application is required, gently sand with 320 grit sand paper, to achieve adhesion between coats.
If you wish to shorten drying time, force dry with hot air, or place in drier with infrared lamps or microwave driers.

 

Remarks

• Shake contents of containers before use

• Clean utensils with water immediately after use.

• Do not store at below 5ºC
