DESCRIPTION
Product Description
Jotatemp 210 is a two-component, polyamide-cured phenolic/novolac epoxy coating designed to provide long-lasting corrosion protection in extreme operating temperatures. It performs in cryogenic environments down to -196°C and withstands continuous service temperatures up to 210°C, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications.
Suitable for both insulated and non-insulated surfaces, Jotatemp 210 helps protect against Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) while delivering excellent durability in atmospheric environments. Its fast-curing formulation allows application during colder weather and winter conditions, helping reduce downtime on site.
The coating can be used as a primer, intermediate coat or finish coat on properly prepared carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium.
Where to Use
Jotatemp 210 is recommended for industrial assets operating in high-temperature or cryogenic environments, including:
- Offshore structures
- Refineries
- Petrochemical plants
- Power stations
- High-temperature pipework
- Process vessels
- Storage tanks
- Valves
- Industrial equipment
- Onshore and offshore facilities
- Insulated steel where corrosion under insulation (CUI) is a concern
- Carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium substrates
How to Use
Jotatemp 210 is a two-component epoxy coating that should be applied to correctly prepared substrates in accordance with the Technical Data Sheet and Application Guide.
Basic application process:
- Prepare the surface to the required specification.
- Mix the two components thoroughly following the recommended mixing ratio.
- Apply as a primer, intermediate coat or finish coat depending on the coating system.
- Suitable for application to carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium.
- Allow the coating to cure before placing the asset into service.
Its fast-curing formula also makes it suitable for application during colder temperatures and winter conditions.
