ShotCrete AS90 is a fast setting and curing rapid strength gain dry spray concrete that is resistant to chloride penetration consisting of a blend of natural cement based binder specially selected and dried loose graded aggregates all passing a 2 mm sieve.

• Yield: Generally 1 x 25 kg bag of ShotCrete AS90 mixed with a water/cement ratio of 38% will produce approximately 10 litres of concrete

Product Description

ShotCrete AS90 is an extremely fast setting and curing rapid strength gain dry spray concrete that sets in 90 seconds at 20°C consisting of a blend of unique natural cement based binder, specially selected and dried loose graded aggregates all passing a 2 mm sieve. It is designed to begin to set at 60 seconds and finish setting at 90 seconds at 20°C.

The product only requires to be added to water (see mixing instructions for further details) and unlike most other manufacturer’s products does not require primers, bonding agents and or curing agents. This product can also be used to stop running and ingress of water as well as tunnel and retaining wall repairs. It can be used in cold & wet conditions, sets under water and can be, if required, from a minimum of 10 mm built up layer on layer to any thickness. ShotCrete AS90 only requires half an hour curing period after set.

Cleanup

ShotCrete AS90 should be removed from tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

 

Storage

ShotCrete AS90 is packaged in a 25 kg polythene inner bag with a resealable tie within a stitch sealed woven polypropylene outer bag, which should be stored in dry conditions and will last for at least twelve months.
