Always ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease and other contamination before coating. New concrete floors - ideally floor should be shot blasted or mechanically grinded, though as a minimum must be thoroughly cleaned and decreased, and the concrete itself must then be fully cured, sound, dry and all surface dust and particles removed. Existing concrete floors – thoroughly remove all dirt, oil, grease and any other contaminants on the surface, ideally by means of shot blasting or mechanical grinding. If this is not possible is must be copiously cleaned, degreased and abraded with all loose chippings and dust completely removed. If a previous coating cannot be totally removed, please speak with our technical team who will advise on carrying out a small trial area to ensure compatibility, or recommend a suitable primer for cohesion.
To avoid the risk of spillage always store and transport in an upright secure position. Materials are hazardous and can also be flammable therefore appropriate precautionary measures must be taken including the use of gloves, glasses and recommended P.P.E in accordance with the material safety data sheets (MSDS).
